W10 signifies that it was issued to the British Army, 6645 is the NATO Supply Classification for a time keeping instrument, and 99 is the country code for the United Kingdom. The case back is also engraved with the 'Pheon' or Broad Arrow' identifying it as government property and finally the serial number and year of issue markings. The watch is powered by the original calibre 649 manual wind movement with hacking function. The matt black dial is in outstanding condition and retains its tritium hour markers with the distinctive triangle at 12. The dial is also marked with the Broad Arrow and the famous circle (T) signifying the presence of radioactive Tritium.
