From 1959 until the mid 1980's, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual featured automatic movements, screw down back and screw down crown. All versions of the OP were 36mm in size and featured a plastic crystal and a 26 jewels movement with fluted or milled bezels. The 36mm OP was powered by the calibre 1560 and 1570 automatic movements. The 1960's saw the introduction of a reduced size, or Ladies Oyster Perpetual with a 24mm case design. In 2014 Rolex released the Oyster Perpetual in 4 different sizes, 26mm, 31mm, 34mm and 36mm. In 2015 Rolex added the 39mm Oyster Perpetual. The current range of Rolex Opster Perpetual watches are available in 28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm and 41mm. All models feature a domed bezel and and Rolex Oyster bracelet. Popular dial colours include candy pink, turqoise blue (Tiffany), black, silver and green.
