Bienvenue à la vente de notre incroyable Rolex Explorer 1016. Cette montre particulière date du 12 avril 1965 (numéro de série : 1053683) et conserve son cadran doré d'origine et très recherché. Les photos ne rendent pas suffisamment justice au cadran - c'est fou. Le cadran a vieilli à la perfection avec une patine tropicale uniforme ou "Wabi-Sabi". Vous n'en trouverez tout simplement pas d'autre comme celle-ci, surtout avec le certificat de garantie Rolex d'origine ! La Rolex Explorer 1016 de 36 mm est une icône du design avec ses index 3, 6, 9 heures distinctifs et ses aiguilles de type Mercedes et animée par le mouvement automatique Rolex calibre 1560. Cette montre a été révisée par Rolex UK en décembre 2021 où un nouveau boîtier Oyster et un nouveau bracelet Oyster ont été installés. En plus du livret de garantie d'origine, la carte de service est incluse ainsi qu'une lettre de Rolex indiquant que le numéro de série a été modifié. Le très rare « Men Who Guide » de 1963 avec JFK sur la couverture est également inclus. All our also watches also include a 14 day no question return policy. Customers have 14 days to inform Swiss Watch Trader that they wish to return the item and a further 14 days to actually return the item.
In 1953, Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay summited Mount Everest wearing modified Oyster Perpetuals. Neither were actually wearing an Explorer but Rolex were quick to take advantage of this amazing feat of human endurance and launched the 6289. The reference 6530 was the first model to have Explorer on the dial.
