IWC Big Pilot IW500201 "Transitional" (2005)
This 46mm IWC Big Pilot IW500201 "Transitional" remains in outstanding condition. This particular watch was originally purchased in November 2005 and is complete with original inner and outer boxes, international warranty card, unused polishing cloth and manuals. It is believed that only around 250 of these "Transitional" models were produced by IWC in late 2005. The 5002 Transitional features the dial from the previous generation Big Pilot "Slow Beat" whilst being powered by the improved IWC Caliber 51110 movement with higher beat rate. Another feature of the 5002 Transitional is the presence of the Probus Scafusia marked crown rather than the fish crowns as found on the earlier models. This has to be the very best example of a Transitional Big Pilot out there!
