The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, along with the Submariner, is one of the most recognisable and desirable watches in the world. The Rolex Cosmograph was released by Rolex in 1963 with the reference 6239. This model featured the now classic and distinctive engraved bezel. Rolex originally called this model the Le Mans. It wasn't until 1965 that Rolex started using the Daytona name and printed it on the dial of the Cosmograph. On 26th October 2017 at a Phillips Watches auction in New York, an "exotic dial" Rolex Daytona Cosmograph 6239 owned and worn by Paul Newman sold for just under $18 million USD. Our collection of Rolex Daytona watches for sale include both white and black dial versions of the discontinued 116520. Please get in touch if you have a full set Rolex Cosmograph Daytona for sale. We are also happy to accept your Rolex Daytona in part exchange.
