• Warranty: All Rolex Explorer II watches include a 24 month warranty if the original warranty has expired. If there is existing warranty in place that does not extend to 24 months the Swiss Watch Trader warranty will cover this difference.

ROLEX EXPLORER II 16570.

Release in 1989, the Rolex Explorer II 16570 was available with either black or white dials and powered by the 3165 automatic movement. The white dial Explorer II has since become known at the 'Polar Explorer'. Towards the end of the watches production the inner rehaut became engraved and the Rolex calibre 3186 movement was installed. All Rolex Explorer II 16570 watches were fitted with a red GMT hand.

ROLEX EXPLORER II 216570.

In 2011 Rolex released the Rolex Explorer II 216570. This model increased in size to 42mm and just like the previous generation 16570, was also available with white or black dials. The 216570 saw the return of the orange GMT hand. 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Explorer II.
