This Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 145.022-74 was originally purchased in 1974 and remains in outstanding and most importantly - original condition. This Speedmaster 145.022 features a 42mm stainless steel case, black dial with printed text, DN90 (dot next to 90) bezel, engraved case back and is powered by the Omega calibre 861 manual wind movement. This one owner watch is unpolished and untouched. Currently fitted with a new and unworn JPM vintage leather strap and complete with original Omega red box. Released in 1957, the original Omega Speedmaster featured “Broad Arrow” hands, a 39mm stainless steel case and the familiar three sub-dial layout. The Speedmaster CK2998 became the first Omega in space when it worn by Wally Schira during NASA's Project Mercury in October 1962.
