This stunning Breitling Navitimer 8 Automatic 41 was originally purchased in November 2018 and remains in outstanding condition having recently been refurbished by Breitling UK. This blue dial Navitimer 8 is currently wearing a Breitling blue leather strap with Breitling pin buckle. Complete with inner and outer boxes, travel case, warranty screen, COSC certificate, manual, document holder, hang tag and polishing cloth. Watch Details: 41mm stainless steel case with bi-directional bezel. Blue dial with applied hour markers and silver sub-dials. Breitling calibre 17 automatic movement with date window located at the 6 o'clock position. 38 hour power reserve. Sapphire crystal. 100m depth rating. Blue leather strap with pin buckle. On 24th May 1962, Scott Carpenter wore a modified Navitimer, named the Cosmonaute, during the Aurora 7 mission. This event marked the first time a Swiss wrist-worn chronograph was worn in space. The Cosmonaute featured an enlarged bezel that was easier to manipulate whilst wearing gloves.
