This Rolex GMT Master II is referred to a "Stick Dial" due to the printing on the dial. Only very few of the very last 16710's were fitted with this type of dial. Early versions of the GMT Master II saw the "II" printed in Roman numerals. The Stick dial, as its name suggests sees the "II" printed in two simple lines. The exact reason for this dial existing is unconfirmed but its rareness makes it a must have for any Rolex collector.
