This Limited Edition Breitling Navitimer 01 AB0120 "Battle of Britain" was originally purchased in July 2019 and remains in unworn and as new condition. The watch has recently returned from a check up with Breitling UK and has the balance it its 5 year warranty. Only 75 "Battle of Britain" watches were produced to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the event making this one of the rarest Breitling watches in existence. This particular version of the Breitling Navitimer 01 features the 43mm stainless steel case with slide-rule bezel and is powered by the Breitling calibre 01 automatic movement with chronograph and date functions. The black dial has commemorative printing in the sub-dials at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The case back is also engraved. Complete with inner and outer boxes, travel case, warranty screen, COSC certificate, manuals, hang tag, bezel protector, spare links, service papers and document holder. Watch Details: 43mm stainless steel case with bi-directional slide-rule bezel. Black dial with applied hour markers and printed sub-dials. Breitling calibre 01 automatic movement with chronograph function and date window located between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. 70 hour power reserve. Sapphire crystal. 30m depth rating. On 24th May 1962, Scott Carpenter wore a modified Navitimer, named the Cosmonaute, during the Aurora 7 mission. This event marked the first time a Swiss wrist-worn chronograph was worn in space. The Cosmonaute featured an enlarged bezel that was easier to manipulate whilst wearing gloves.
