This Breitling Old Navitimer II D13322 was originally purchased in December 2003 and remains in unworn and as new condition having not been worn since its full service with Breitling UK in September 2020. This particular version of the Breitling Old Navitimer II features a 41.5mm stainless steel case with 18k yellow gold slide-rule bezel and is powered by the Breitling calibre 13 automatic movement with chronograph and date functions. The black dial features gold printing, yellow gold hands and silver sub-dials. The watch also benefits from being fitted with its original stainless steel and 18k yellow gold Navitimer bracelet with folding clasp. You will not find a better and more complete example. Complete with inner and outer boxes, warranty book, COSC certificate, manuals, document holder and Breitling service paperwork. On 24th May 1962, Scott Carpenter wore a modified Navitimer, named the Cosmonaute, during the Aurora 7 mission. This event marked the first time a Swiss wrist-worn chronograph was worn in space. The Cosmonaute featured an enlarged bezel that was easier to manipulate whilst wearing gloves.
