This Limited Edition Royal Marines Commando Breitling Superocean Steelfish A17390 remains in outstanding condition having been worn occasionally by its previous owner. Only 150 examples of this watch were produced and they were only made available to Commandos of the Royal Marines. The black dial features a print of the Royal Marines cap badge at the 9 o'clock position and their motto "Per Mare, Per Terram" above the depth rating. The watch retails its original Pro2 (Professional 2) stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. Originally purchased in February 2010 (UK) and complete with original inner and outer boxes, travel case, manual, original warranty book, COSC certificate, Limited Edition certificate, bezel protector and hang tag. Watch Details: 44mm stainless steel case with uni-directional bezel. The Breitling Superocean was released in 1957 following the demand for divers watches from brands including Rolex and Blancpain that were released a few years earlier. The original Superocean had a depth rating of 200 meters - twice that of the Rolex Submariner that was released in 1953.
