This stunning early 4 digit version of the classic 43mm pilots watch remains in outstanding original condition. The watch features the original 3H tritium dial with matching hands, both showing a lovely creamy patina. The 60 minute rotating bezel is almost unmarked, as is the plexiglass crystal.
Produced in the early 1970's, this Heuer Bundeswehr 1550 SG was originally intended as a pilots chronograph for the German Airforce. The casebook is engraved with "BUNDESWEHR 6645-12-146-3774" and the dial features the 3H marking - identifying the presence of tritium.
