This Rolex Explorer II 16570 must be one of the very last sold after production switched to the 42mm Rolex Explorer II 216570 in 2011. This late model V serial 16570 features the Rolex calibre 3186 movement and engraved inner rehaut.Watch Details: 40mm stainless steel case. Fixed bezel 24 hour markers. Stunning black dial with applied hour markers and date located at the 3 o'clock position. Red GMT hand. Rolex calibre 3186 automatic movement with jumping hour and GMT function. All our also watches also include a 14 day no question return policy. Customers have 14 days to inform Swiss Watch Trader that they wish to return the item and a further 14 days to actually return the item.
The Rolex Explorer II 16570 was release in 1989 and available with either black or white dials. The white dial Explorer II has since become known at the 'Polar Explorer'. Towards the end of the 16570 production the inner rehaut became engraved and the Rolex calibre 3186 movement was installed.
