Sit back and read our 5 minute review of the Rolex Submariner 114060 No Date. The 114060 No Date is the most recent stainless steel Submariner to be discontinued, replaced by the 124060 in 2020. Throughout its 8 year production the watch remained unchanged featuring the divisive 40mm MAXI case and chromalight dial with blue lume.
The Rolex Submariner 114060 No Date was released in 2012 and featured the same 40mm MAXI case as the Rolex Submariner 116610LN Date. The 114060 features a number of upgrades over the previous generation Submariner 14060M, most noticeably a black ceramic bezel with platinum inserts. Rolex calls this material "cerachrom" which unlike the aluminium bezel of the 14060M is scratch resistant. The Rolex Submariner 114060 is powered by the same calibre 3130 automatic movement as the 14060M. The dial and hands of the 114060 were however upgraded to include Rolex's Chromalight material. This luminous material has a blue glow when subjected to sunlight rather than the green glow as per previous versions. The bracelet on the Rolex Submariner 114060 also saw a huge improvement. The 114060 is fitted with the same oyster bracelet with internal glide-lock clasp and extension system as the Rolex Submariner 116610LN Date. The Rolex Submariner 114060 No Date retained the engraved inner rehaut with the serial number displayed at the 6 o'clock position.

The Rolex Submariner 114060 NO DATE is powered by the caliber 3130, a simplified version of the calibre 3135. The rotor that powers this movement is bidirectional and when fully wound will have a power reserve of 48 hours. The calibre 3130 was released in 2001 and powers a number of Rolex watches, not just the Rolex Submariner 114060 No Date. As such, if you see a Rolex watch with a date function, chances are, it is powered by the 3130.
