The Rolex Submariner 14060M No Date was released in 1999 and replaced the 14060 - the additional M standing for "modified". Improvements over the 14060 include the updated 3130 calibre movement which boasted a larger balance wheel and full balance bridge. The 14060m was fitted with the same black glossy dials as the 14060 with applied hour markers and two lines of text. However the tritium markers and hands as per the 14060 were now replaced with SuperLumiNova.

The dial of the Rolex Submariner 14060M changed in 2007 when the watch became Chronometer Certificated. Dials after 2007 were printed with four lines of text to reflect this. In 2008 the Rolex Submariner 14060M was fitted with the engraved inner rehaut. This feature included the word ROLEX engraved several times and the serial number displayed at the 6 o'clock position. The Rolex Submariner 14060m No Date featured a 40mm stainless steel cases with lug holes and fitted with the 93150 oyster bracelet with folding clasp.
